What is it?
Created by the Venus Concept group, the Venus Bliss™ is a comprehensive solution for non-invasive fat reduction and body contouring. It uses a diode laser to effectively target fat, and an applicator that combines Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields with advanced VariPulse™ technology to tighten skin. The end result is not only fat reduction, but an overall smoother, more contoured appearance.
How is the procedure performed?
Dr. Khan will determine which area of your body may benefit from Venus Bliss™ treatments. Once marked and outlined, a belt with nooks for the laser applicators will be placed around you. The applicators will be placed within these nooks, allowing for uniform energy distribution and even heating of the targeted tissue. Alternating cooling and heating treatments will commence, with the entire treatment taking ~30 minutes. For maximal results, Dr. Khan recommends 3-4 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
What to expect after undergoing treatment with Venus Bliss™?
Most patients report feeling comfortable while undergoing treatment with Venus Bliss™. During the 30 minute treatment, patients often watch TV or catch up on work! You may experience some redness and soreness immediately after the treatment but this should resolve within a couple of hours. You may also notice some areas of hardness, and it is recommended that you aggressively massage the area of treatment for ~1 week afterwards. Remember, you may notice fat reduction after just one session but for maximal correction, 3-4 sessions spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart are typically needed.
