    Venus Legacy™

    Do you have areas of cellulite or dimpling that just won’t improve despite hours at the gym? Perhaps you have some loose neck or arm skin that needs tightening but you are not ready to undergo surgery. If so, then you may be a good candidate to undergo treatment with the Venus Legacy™ machine.

    What is it?

    Created by the Venus Concept group, the Venus Legacy™ delivers multi-polar radiofrequency, along with pulsed magnetic fields, for non-surgical body contouring and skin tightening of the face, neck, and body. This patented 4D™ technology, combining Multi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF), Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields (PEMF), VariPulse™ technology (VP), and RealTime Thermal Feedback, produces a soothing and therapeutic heat matrix over the skin which causes a thermal reaction within the body’s tissues. This, in turn, stimulates the body’s natural healing response. This restoring and regenerative healing response causes the skin to contract, achieving tighter skin, softening of wrinkles and reduced cellulite.

    How is the procedure performed?

    Dr. Khan will determine which areas of your face, neck or body may benefit from Venus Legacy™ treatments. Once marked and outlined, a gliding gel will be applied to the areas needing treatment. The handheld probe will then be passed over these areas in smooth and consistent movements for approximately 30 minutes. For maximal correction, Dr. Khan recommends 6-8 treatments, spaced one-two week(s) apart.

    What to expect after undergoing treatment with Venus Legacy™?

    Most patients report feeling relaxed after undergoing treatment with Venus Legacy™. In fact, treatments have been compared to feeling like you just received a hot stone massage! You may experience some redness and warmth immediately after treatment but this should resolve within a couple of hours. You may also notice skin improvement after just one session but for maximal correction, 6-8 sessions are typically needed.
